概要：
惑星電離圏は、太陽からのエネルギー流入や下層大気の影響により極めて多様に変動している。さらに、中性大気とプラズマとの相互作用も惑星電離圏の性質を決める上で本質的なプロセスである。本講義では、電離圏での物理・化学過程のいくつかについて、地球と他惑星の例を示しつつ紹介する予定である。

Title : Introduction to the ionosphere and thermosphere
Abstract :
The planetary ionospheres show significant variations due to the solar energy inputs and the influence of the lower atmosphere. In addition, coupling processes between the neutral species and plasmas and fundamental to form the characteristics of the ionospheric features. In this lecture, some ionospheric processes (both the physics and chemistry) will be explained with comparing the Earth’s ionosphere with planetary ones.
