MMX/MIRS Handover!

We have been developing MIRS, an infrared spectrometer for the Mars Moon eXploration (MMX) mission to be launched in two years, in cooperation with France. On April 5, the handover was successfully completed to Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (MELCO), which manufactures the main body of the spacecraft. This is a very important event for the team members. For this team, which came late to the project from other instrument teams, it is very impressive that we have made it this far in only four years. We are proud to be a part of such a great team. Of course, there is still a lot of work to be done before and after the launch, but we will continue to do our best for the success of the mission.
